Limited Time Opening of the SHOP

I'm opening up the shop for a limited time summer sale! I have a few necklaces and bracelets that I'd love to give a good home. My hope is to start making jewelry again in my spare time. I've missed the creative process of creating things and would love to be able to carve some time out to do that again and in turn share my new pieces with all of you! Back...I think

This Summer has flown by in one sense, but in another, it's been slow and arduous. I ran out of steam around June and I just now feel myself able to pick back up where I left off in the Spring. After weeks and weeks of ignoring my studio and my little shop, I found myself back at work this weekend, finally inspired enough to work on some new designs. If I'm being honest, I kind of needed to step back and take a look at the things I've been making. Are they a reflection of me? Do I even like the things I've been producing? Some things, yes. Other things, no. So, I kind of "cleaned shop" so to speak, took some things down and began toying with some new materials and new designs. Hopefully, I'll have something to show for it soon.

For those of you reading this, thanks for your patience and for bearing with me through this span of silence. I just might be back for reals this time!

Recap: Mini Marketplace

Thanks to those of you who were able to stop by Saturday for the Mini Marketplace sale! We had a lot of fun and it was wonderful to get so many questions about my jewelry and suggestions for future pieces to make.

Although initially nervous about participating in the sale, it turned out to be a great learning experience for me and got me jumpstarted on adding some new things to the shop. Lily and I spent quite a few hours in the studio prepping and creating in anticipation of the event, as N captured so well in the picture above.

And I will admit that I let out a huge sigh of relief after it was over, but the takeaway was definitely worth the stressful bits!

 Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to participate in something similar in the future. A big thanks to Lindsey Neuhaus for setting it up and including me!

As a fairly new seller on Etsy, it sure was fun to see one of my bracelet stacks make the front page yesterday morning; a pleasant departure from my usual Monday morning blues! It's amazing how that little bit of exposure really brings people to your shop - I had over 1600 listing views yesterday. So fun!

NEW in SHOP!

A few new bracelets in shop this week. I'm slowly churning out more bracelets and I'm transitioning some listings into bracelet stacks, like the one above. I still have them at the special price of 3 for $20, regular price is $26.

This new design is the Cicely bracelet and it's available in white (pictured), grey and white and turquoise; new color combinations are coming soon.

The Harbor is now available in turquoise and lime green, as well as white and cobalt blue. I'm also working on some new color combinations in this design too.

Take Notice: Midnight Necklace

Much to my surprise and delight, the Midnight Necklace has been in the spotlight the past couple of days. First, it was featured in The Washingtonian Magazine Shoparound column's "The Best Neon Jewelry on Etsy Right Now". Click into the slideshow and you'll find my necklace is the last image included in the collection - I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it!

Second, it was featured on This Little Street Blog in Audrey's the colors of happiness post. I'm thrilled that she featured my necklace because I was introduced to her lovely corner of the web. Her blog is full of beautiful imagery, handmade finds and simple everyday inspirations. I added This Little Street to my list of daily reads and you should too! Thank you, Audrey!

NEW in SHOP: Bracelet Debut

Bracelets have finally made their way to the shop! The first in a coming series of bracelets is the Satellite bracelet. Fun, colorful and perfect for summer, the Satellite is lightweight and looks great stacked with other bracelets. I'll be adding another series of bracelets soon, so stay tuned!
